Each week for 10 weeks, the best and the brightest I Am T-Pain users sent us their videos and each week, we chose winners in 2 categories: I'm On A _____, for new versions of the Lonely Planet + T-Pain track, and Show Us Your Pain for any creative video use of the app.Our Contest Videos

Two Ways to WIN!
CATEGORY A: "I'm On A ________"
Create an awesome video performing “I’m on a Boat” using the “I Am T-Pain” iPhone app, and share it with the world. Creativity and humor matter, so show us what you’ve got — change the lyrics around, add cool backgrounds, film yourself in cool places, interpretive dance, even record your own music (extra points for funky instruments and musical arrangements). Whatever you want, just make sure you feature the “I Am T-Pain” application.CATEGORY B: "Show Us Your PAIN"
Autotune has become popular as a way to make life more musical and fun, demonstrated best in the well known Youtube series “Autotune the News” and the one-off “Autotune in the Office”. Well we want to see what sorts of fun stuff you can come up with. Show us how you use “I Am T-Pain”, whether you are using autotune in public, creating an original song, performing one of the existing in app tracks with your own twist or freestyle, or something totally new. What can you do with the “I Am T-Pain” iPhone application? The sky’s the limit and creativity is king. So get out there and show us your Pain!Entering is easy — upload your video to YouTube, and then fill out the entry form on the right of this page. It should be obvious which category you are entering in from the content of your video, but feel free to explicitly state the category in the video’s description on Youtube. Winners are determined based on creative achievement and video view counts — so spread the word to your friends and fans!
The Prizes
- One Grand Prize winner (chosen from finalists in both Categories) will receive a cash prize of $5,000 and a Big Ass Chain ($140 value, approximate weight of 10 lbs)
- Every week until the end of the contest (December 14th), two finalists will be chosen (one in each category), and will receive a cash prize of $500 and set of Grillz (gold teeth $50 value)
- Other cool prizes, including autographed items, will be distributed during the contest. These prizes will go to contestants who make us (the Smule and Nappy Boy teams) laugh the hardest.
Contest Rules
- Videos must fall into one of two categories: A) a performance to the music of “I’m On a Boat” and utiling the “I Am T-Pain” iPhone application or B) pretty much anything else involving the “I Am T-Pain” app
- Videos will be judged on the total number of views as well as overall creativity
- Feel free to sing the original lyrics of “I’m On a Boat” or create your own for Category A
- Must be 18 or older (or have consent of a legal parent/guardian)
- Two finalists (one in each category) will be announced every Monday of the contest period on the Smule Live Webcast found at http://ustream.tv/channel/smule
